Jay Carlson is the Assistant Production Manager for the Beverly and John Lord Knight Performance Hall at the University of Northwestern - St Paul where he coordinates the many events that come through the hall on a day-to-day basis. Jay is also a stage manager when his schedule allows him to be. Jay earned his B.A in Theatre from University of Northwestern - St Paul. He has also worked as a Set Dresser for EVINE, a home shopping network in Eden Prairie, MN. As a stage manager, Jay has worked with Hennepin Theatre Trust, Bucket Brigade, Open Window Theatre, University of Minnesota - Opera, Skylark Opera Theatre, Lakeshore Players, and Lex-Ham Community Theater.

Kat’s marketing career has spanned nearly four decades. Previous leadership positions at several Minneapolis firms include in-house agencies at Life Time Fitness, Target and Best Buy, plus advertising agencies Campbell Mithun, Carmichael Lynch, and The Martin Agency in Richmond, VA. A self-professed “volunteeraholic,” Kat has a special affinity for arts organizations, which has brought her to Hypnic Jerk Theatre. She’s a former board member of the Mounds View Community Theatre, the Minnesota Center for Photography, and MN Fashion. She’s currently on the advisory board of Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret and is a financial supporter of the Lyric Arts Theater, Young Artists Initiative (YAI), and the Art Shanty Project. Other advisory board memberships include MCTC, Dunwoody Institute, and Art Institutes International in their photography and design programs.

A Minnesota native, Shannon earned her generals at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and her B.A. in Theatre from University of Northwestern-St Paul. She works as a tech manager at Minnehaha Academy and Phoenix Theater and a freelance lighting designer in the cities. Her experience also includes sound production, projection design, installation art, acting, and theater education.
